About Us

For nearly 79 years, the San Marcos Lions Club has provided resources to individuals who are blind or who have severe vision problems.

We also support programs that provide assistance for the purchase of eyeglasses.

We provide scholarships to our local students.

We also assist local charities in the continuation of their programs.

The Memorial Day Flood of 2015 was a tragic event in our community. The San Marcos Lions Club provided emergency funding to local disaster relief efforts and to many individuals.

Our number one fundraising project is the Tube Rental Operation. The San Marcos Lions Club collaborates with many governmental agencies and preservation organizations. Our combined goal is to protect this natural treasure, the San Marcos River.
